B-TEMIA to Demonstrate its KEEOGO™ Walking Assistance Device at the 25TH Conference “ESPOIR-FAMILLE” of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada

Québec City, QC | October 28, 2016 – B-TEMIA Inc., a leader in the human augmentation market with its proprietary dermoskeletal technology, will be demonstrating its Keeogo™ walking assistance device at the 25th conference “Espoir Famille” of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, to be held in Lévis (Québec) from October 28 to 30th.

“We are very proud to participate in this important gathering for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their families. It is a unique opportunity to share information and educate potential users about how bio-robotics, and in particular our Keeogo™ device can significantly improve the level of daily activity and the quality of life of patients with MS, and more importantly, how Keeogo™ can give them back their autonomy in mobility and enable them to participate more in their personal daily lives, with their families, friends and community,” stated Stéphane Bédard, Founder and CEO of B-TEMIA.

“I have been using the Keeogo™ device for over a year now,” said Mr. Étienne Tremblay, who is living with MS. “My Dermoskeleton™ enables me to go the extra mile that my body is no longer able to do.”

B-TEMIA will showcase its Keeogo™ technology during the exhibition taking place as part of the conference on October 29th at the Centre de congrès et d’exposition de Lévis. It is estimated that 100,000 people live with Multiple Sclerosis in Canada.

Used as rehabilitation equipment or as a daily walking device, Keeogo™ is commercially available for purchase or rental in Canada. It is currently under investigation in a multicenter pivotal clinical trial aiming for a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, a prerequisite to enter the US market.
