B-TEMIA develops and markets technologies for the creation of human enhancement/ augmentation systems called “Dermoskeletons”, commonly described as skin-type computer controlled motorized orthopaedic supports.

B-TEMIA’s dermoskeletal technology includes expertise in biomechatronics, trade secrets and proprietary designs that allow the “true” interfacing of dermoskeletons with the human body. This technology provides the perfect biomechanical integration of dermoskeletons in order to actively assist and biomechanically protect the musculoskeletal structures of the body.

B-TEMIA’s dermoskelatal technology supplies the technical capability to a dermoskeleton to biomechanically assist the user’s mobility. This capacity lies in the optimal integration of three core components:
  1. Sensor network observing the technical particularities and the biomechanical characteristics of the user’s mobility;
  2. Movement recognition software with the capacity to identify and categorized the overall status of the user’s mobility as well as the characteristics of the respective movement phases;
